I currently have my AA degree from Indian Hills Community College. I completed two years of schoolwork in one with a 3.9 GPA. I'm at Simpson College currently working towards a degree in music education. I have tutored in a variety of subjects before. I've taken countless classes that are useful... I've taken math classes up through Precalculus II, including Statistics. I've taken AP English, Speech, and several different Composition classes. I've also taken a variety of history and science classes, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I scored a 30 on my ACT, and I was valedictorian of my high school class, with a 4.0 GPA. I'm applying for a tutoring position because, as my career choice suggests, I enjoy working with students and teaching. I'm very qualified to tutor with my variety of experiences, and I'm a very patient teacher.

Hobbies
I enjoy a variety of things. Music is definitely my number one passion in life. I'm a singer, and I also play the saxophone and piano. I also enjoy art. In my free time, I love to paint and draw -- especially portraits. I like to throw on the wheel occasionally, too. I enjoy playing tennis, and I love swimming. During the summer, you can always find me at the lake with my family... We camp, boat, and jet ski every weekend. Other things I enjoy doing include: reading, playing the Wii, traveling, and baking.
